We definitely recommend a drive to see the tigers at least in their habitat, they are mostly awake and walking which is great. The tigers you pay for and take pictures of in front of you are pretty clearly sedated to be safe around which is a bit sad but there's no other way to do it, if that bothers you I'd recommend not going.
