Must Watch The Carnival Magic Show If You're In Phuket

One of Thailand's most incredible sights is hidden on Phuket island: the Carnival Magic Theme Park and Parade show. A recent guest told their experience of this vibrant entertainment venue, which many claim to be the best theme park in Thailand.

Why People Love Carnival Magic Show Phuket

Open in the Kamala area from 5:30 PM to 11:30 PM, this theme park in Phuket spans 40 acres with incredible attractions, brilliant displays, and entertaining events. The Carnival Magic performance Phuket is a voyage that astounds guests of all ages, not only a typical tourist destination.

If you intend to visit, try to arrive at 5:30 PM when the gates open to view everything. As soon as you view the massive light fixtures at the entryway, you will say, "Wow."

Festival of Colour Street: The Beginning of Fun

Your adventure through Carnival Magic show Phuket begins at the Festival of Colour Street, where you'll find several world records like the World's Largest Papier-mâché Structure and the World's Largest Popcorn Machine (they sell four different popcorn flavors from it!).

Families with kids will enjoy the carnival rides like carousels, Ferris wheels, and a fun TukTuk track. People who like games can try their luck at the Jamboree Games Pavilion, where games like balloon darts, axe throwing, and ball games give you chances to win prizes..

The Awesome Carnival Magic Parade

At exactly 7:15 PM, a small but amazing 15-minute parade happens on the Festival of Colour Street. The Carnival Magic show Phuket has mechanical elephants, circus acts, dancers, bubbles that turn into smoke, and huge balloons that bounce around the crowd. Even though its short, this colorful show will definitely make anyone smile.

The Amazing River Palace Paradium

The best part of Carnival Magic show Phuket is definitely the River Palace Paradium show. This show holds the record for longest parade float indoors and is super secret – all phones and cameras must be put in lockers before going in.

The show starts at 8:30 PM in a huge theater where everyone has their own seat. During a recent show, the 50-minute spectacle had four different themed float sections: Thailand, Sea Creatures, Mythical Beings, and Royalty. Each part was completely different and kept everyone interested the whole time.

Festival of Light: Lighting Up the Night

Maybe the most photographed area of the carnival theme park opens at 9:30 PM (last entry at 10:15 PM). The Festival of Light path has more world records, including the biggest LED structure and biggest chandelier. The official walking time is 20 minutes, but most people spend about 45 minutes exploring slowly and taking pictures of the beautiful displays.

Even people who usually prefer natural beauty are surprised by how impressed they are with these man-made light displays. The attention to detail and work needed to keep everything looking so good is really impressive.

Eating at the Bird of Paradise

Visitors who bought the buffet package with their carnival magic ticket price get to eat in the colorful 'Bird of Paradise' hall. The seats are yellow, green, orange and blue, and they even serve rice in matching colors.

The buffet is open from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM, but no one can enter after 8 PM. During a recent visit, they had lots of traditional Thai food, different types of carnival fries, noodles, pasta, and desserts. It's smart to plan when to eat – either at 6:30 PM before watching the street parade at 7:15 PM, or after seeing the parade at 7:30 PM. Either way gives you about 45 minutes to enjoy your food while still having time for all the other attractions.

Unique "Toy-lets": Bathroom Fun

One of the most surprising highlights of Carnival Magic and theme park in Phuket is the amazing themed bathrooms. Located in three different places throughout the park, these "Toy-lets" have become attractions themselves.

Near the Festival of Colour Street, there's 21 individually themed toilet stalls with themes like Tamagotchi, Ice Cream Parlour, Robots, Gumball Machine, and Snow Globe. You can even choose your hand soap color from a drink dispenser. Other bathroom areas include the bright neon Loo-topia in the Festival of Light and the Fountain of Youth themed bathrooms in the buffet hall.

The only problem? With so much to see, most visitors only get to use two or three of these fun bathrooms. Make sure you drink lots of water so you have reasons to visit these Instagram-worthy restrooms.

Shopping Places

If there's extra time between attractions, Carnival Magic Phuket has several shopping areas:

  • Zooviners sells cute elephant souvenirs.
  • Carnival Funfair sells official merchandise, light-up wands, and traditional Thai clothes.
  • Jewerousel has jeweled sculptures, with a really cool tiger.
  • The Handicraft Market has handmade souvenirs and artwork (they take cash and cards).
