The Sanctuary of Truth is a tree sanctuary built by Master Lek Veriyavan, the founder of the Erawan Sanctuary and Elephant Museum. The Temple of Truth is the largest wooden building in Thailand, built entirely of wood using ancient Thai carpentry techniques. Inside the shrine is a wooden statue and wooden sculptures that explain the philosophy of life. The use of artistic style in the sanctuary is benevolent and should be considered a masterpiece of this era. The Temple of Truth is one of the tourist attractions that won the Best Industrial Tourism Award in Thailand in 2008.
